Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 4 July 2026
This statement describes the accessibility of the LeakIQ website at leakiq.io and the LeakIQ revenue recovery platform at app.leakiq.io, both operated by LeakIQ Ltd. We want everyone who uses LeakIQ to be able to do so comfortably and independently, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
1. Our commitment
LeakIQ Ltd is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards as the platform evolves.
Accessibility is considered throughout our design and development process — not treated as an afterthought. New features are reviewed against our conformance target before release.
2. Conformance standard
Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities across four principles: perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
The LeakIQ website and platform are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA — meaning most content conforms, with the exceptions listed in section 5 below.
3. Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure with correct heading hierarchy and landmark regions throughout the website and platform
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons; decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology
- Full keyboard operability — all interactive controls can be reached and activated without a mouse
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
- Colour contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA thresholds for text and interface components
- Status information conveyed by text and icons rather than colour alone (for example, issue severity and SLA states)
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels and clear inline error messages
- Responsive layouts that support browser zoom up to 200% and text resizing without loss of functionality
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
- Accessibility review included in our development and code-review workflow
4. Compatibility
The LeakIQ website and platform are designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver), screen magnification software and speech recognition software.
The platform is a web application and does not require any software installation. It is usable on desktop and tablet devices; some dense data views (such as reconciliation tables) are best experienced on larger screens.
5. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the platform may not yet be fully accessible:
- Complex data visualisations. Some charts and trend graphs rely on visual presentation. Underlying figures are available in accompanying tables or exports, and we are working to improve non-visual summaries.
- Exported documents. PDF exports (such as proof packs) are generated for print fidelity and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. The same information is available within the accessible web interface.
- Third-party content. Content served by connected third-party systems is outside our direct control, though we present it within accessible layouts wherever possible.
We are actively working to address these areas and will update this statement as improvements are released.
6. Feedback and contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of LeakIQ. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information from the site or platform in a different format, please contact us:
- Email: support@leakiq.io (please include "Accessibility" in the subject line)
- Post: LeakIQ Ltd, 195 Wood Street, London E17 3NU, United Kingdom
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve reported barriers as quickly as reasonably possible.
7. Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may raise the matter with the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which provides advice on the Equality Act 2010 in England, Scotland and Wales.
